Insights from the Seen and Heard Project
Last month, the Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) released the report, The struggle to be seen, the power in being heard, highlighting the experiences of Arab, Jewish, Muslim, Israeli and Palestinian communities facing increased racism since 7 October 2023.
At DCA, we encourage organisations to take action now by strengthening inclusion and addressing racism in the workplace.
You can start by exploring the Seen and Heard initiative and drawing on DCA’s evidence-based research on creating inclusive multi-faith workplaces and tackling racism at work.
We will continue to support you on this journey, with updated multi-faith guidelines coming later this year to help you build more inclusive workplaces for all. |

Unlocking Australia’s full potential requires inclusive economic reform |
In a statement made in response to the 2026-27 Federal budget, we welcomed measures aimed at easing cost-of-living pressures, supporting long-term economic productivity, and taking important steps to improve access to work for all Australians. However, we also cautioned that Australia’s future prosperity depends on ensuring that inclusion and equitable access to opportunity are at the centre of economic reform. |
