LGBTIQ+ people face disproportionately high levels of exclusion at work |
Early-release data from DCA’s 2025-2026 Inclusion@Work Index has revealed that discrimination and harassment against LGBTIQ+ workers has increased since the last Inclusion@Work Index was released in 2024. As we celebrate Victoria’s Midsumma festival (18 January – 8 February) and approach the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras (13 February – 1 March), these findings provide timely insights into the experiences of LGBTIQ+ workers across Australia. |

She’s Price(d)less is a long-running series of reports in Australia that analyses the contributing drivers of the gender pay gap. It explains why the gender pay gap exists and where it needs to be addressed the most. New Workplace Gender Equality Citation tool and what to know about Gender Equality Targets in 2026
|
Workplace Gender Equality Agency’s (WGEA) new Workplace Gender Equality Citation encourages, recognises and celebrates organisations that are taking meaningful action to create fairer workplaces across Australia. For organisations that are ready to start their recognition journey or want a clear framework to guide their work on gender equality, WGEA has provided leading-practice Citation Standards to help along the way.
Employers who directly employ 500 or more employees must select and meet gender equality targets. WGEA’s employer guides and resources are designed to support organisations to confidently select, implement and monitor evidence-informed targets that drive real change. Visit the WGEA Targets Hub for guidance and help in understanding the target requirements including new requirements for 2026.
