Dignified access: more than just ramps
When we think about accessibility, it’s easy to focus on visible solutions—ramps, lifts, and accessible parking. But with 5.5 million Australians living with disability, accessibility is about more than just physical structures. It’s about ensuring that every person can move through and engage with a space independently and with dignity.
From the layout of a building to the attitudes of front-line staff, accessibility is shaped by both design and culture. True inclusion means creating environments that consider physical, sensory, and social experiences alike.
