Join us in celebrating Inclusion at Work Week!
We are thrilled to kick off Inclusion at Work Week, DCA’s annual celebration of the fantastic work organisations across Australia are doing to create inclusive workplaces.
We have a great week planned with the launch event for our Inclusive Teams Toolkit on Wednesday, an insightful case study coming soon, sold-out Open Knowledge Programs, and today’s exciting announcements.

Congratulations to our 2024-2025 DCA Inclusive Employers
One of the huge achievements we are celebrating this week is that over 60 organisations have been recognised as DCA Inclusive Employers for 2024-2025. These organisations exceeded national benchmarks across multiple key diversity and inclusion measures in DCA’s annual Inclusive Employer Index.
“DCA congratulates this year’s Inclusive Employers for showing their commitment to fostering inclusive workplaces where employees in all their diversity can thrive,” said DCA CEO Lisa Annese. “These organisations show the essential role inclusion plays in workplace success and employee wellbeing. They’re setting a standard that inspires others to follow.”
Visit our website for the full list of DCA Inclusive Employers and see how you can take part next year.

In Australia, only 53% of people with disability aged 15-64 are in the labour force, compared to 84% of people without disability. Regrettably, people with disability can often find it difficult to secure meaningful work, especially in non-segregated work settings. At this case study conversation, DCA’s CEO Lisa Annese, will talk to Hotel Etico Australia’s General Manager, Saraya O’Connell, about how they have facilitated a world-class training and live-in program for people with disability while providing successful holiday experiences to all hotel guests.
