Take action to support diverse suppliers
This year, Supply Nation is celebrating 15 years of working towards growing the Indigenous business sector in Australia by connecting First Nations suppliers with corporate and government buyers. Since 2009, the organisation has facilitated over $14.7 billion in procurement and the creation of thousands of jobs for Indigenous people.
As we approach the end of the year, we encourage organisations to take an active approach to integrating supplier diversity measures in their procurement strategies and policies. Increased supplier diversity across all business sectors is crucial to supporting First Nations people’s economic empowerment and inclusion.
