The Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission has released a new resource outlining employers' responsibilities under the Equal Opportunity Act 2010. It provides five minimum standards to help create anti-racist workplaces and offers essential information for First Nations peoples and racialised employees on their rights and how to address race discrimination at work. Redefining family: discover the inaugural Uniting Families Report
Uniting NSW.ACT, in partnership with UNSW Social Policy Research Centre, recently released the inaugural Uniting Families Report. The report series aims to shape Australia's understanding of family forms, experiences and diversity over the next 10 years, and challenges the notion that all family experiences are the same. Instead, this report highlights the need for policymakers and practitioners to design systems, laws and services with the full range of family experiences in mind. Read the report.
