The power of D&I data: your questions answered
Are you ready to harness the potential of D&I data? Data is a powerful tool in diversity and inclusion (D&I) work. It helps you make informed decisions about the future direction and aspirations of your D&I work and your overall business strategies. But it can seem like a daunting concept if you are new to this space, or new to working with data. Dive into our latest blog where we tackle your most common questions on D&I data collection.
If you are not sure where to start, DCA’s Inclusive Employer Index is an easy way to map and track the state of diversity and inclusion in your organisation. This is your chance to gather vital diversity data and compare it with industry standards. Plus, you could be featured on DCA’s list of 2024-2025 Inclusive Employers. Learn more about participation details and assessment criteria here: Inclusive Employer Index.

Wherever you can go, Guide Dogs can go too
Tomorrow is International Guide Dog Day and the theme this year is “Everywhere you can go, Guide Dogs can go too”, highlighting the important issue of refusal. Almost half of all taxi or rideshare journeys for Guide Dog Handlers results in a refusal, despite Australian law stating that a person with low vision or blindness who is accompanied by a Guide Dog is permitted to travel on any form of public transport, including taxis, buses, trains and rideshare vehicles. Explore how you can welcome people with low vision or blindness.
