Inclusion@Work Index 2023-24 launched
Today DCA launched the fourth iteration of the Inclusion@Work Index, a comprehensive report on the state of inclusion and exclusion in the Australian workforce. Conducted every two years, the index draws insights from a nationally representative sample of 3,000 respondents and highlights the case for inclusion: it creates a better work environment that boosts employee wellbeing and fuels performance.

Explore the research
This year’s index offers a unique perspective on the state of inclusion in Australia in comparison to the surveys prior to and during the pandemic. Findings show that worker experience with exclusion has increased post-pandemic, while their sense of connection and contribution at work has decreased. On the other hand, those workplaces taking action on diversity and inclusion continue to see higher employee satisfaction, better teamwork, and are more likely to have a positive impact on employee mental health.
